Ingredients
  

Beef and Noodles
  • 8 oz Lo Mein Noodles or any egg noodles
  • 1 lb Beef Flank Steak thinly sliced
Vegetables
  • 1 cup Bell Pepper sliced
  • 1 cup Carrots julienned
  • 1 cup Snow Peas
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 inch Ginger grated
Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce low sodium preferred
  • 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Green Onions sliced
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds optional

Method
 

Prepare the Noodles
  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Stir-Fry the Beef
  1. Heat a wok over high heat and add a tablespoon of oil. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Cook the Vegetables
  1. In the same wok, add a bit more oil if needed. Stir-fry the garlic, ginger, bell pepper, carrots, and snow peas for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Return the beef to the wok, add the cooked noodles, and pour in the sauce. Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Serve
  1. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
