Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries washed and stems removed
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice about 4 limes
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste

  • 1 cup water for blending

Method
 

Prepare the Blackberry Mixture
  1. In a blender, combine the blackberries, lime juice, sugar, and water. Blend until smooth.
Strain the Mixture
  1. Strain the blackberry mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds, pressing with a spatula to extract as much liquid as possible.
Chill the Mixture
  1. Transfer the strained mixture to a mixing bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until well chilled.
Churn the Sorbet
  1. Pour the chilled mixture into a sorbet maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Freeze the Sorbet
  1. Transfer the sorbet to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up before serving.
