  • 2 cups fresh blueberries or frozen
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the blueberries, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally until the blueberries break down and the sauce thickens, about 20-25 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Transfer the sauce to a blender and blend until smooth. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
