Ingredients
  

Crust and Topping
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Filling
  • 3 cups apples peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce store-bought or homemade

Method
 

Prepare the Crust and Topping
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, melted butter, salt, and cinnamon. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the crust.
Prepare the Filling
  1. In a separate bowl, toss the diced apples with granulated sugar and lemon juice.
  2. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the crust in the baking pan.
  3. Drizzle caramel sauce over the apples.
Bake the Bars
  1. Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the caramel and apples.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Allow to cool before slicing into bars.

Notes
