Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 scoop protein powder vanilla or unflavored
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup milk or non-dairy alternative
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or oil

Method
 

Prepare the Waffle Batter
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine the wet ingredients: milk, eggs, melted butter, and shredded cheese.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Cook the Waffles
  1. Preheat the waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Pour an appropriate amount of batter onto the preheated waffle maker and close the lid.
  3. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the waffles are golden brown and crisp.
  4. Remove the waffles and repeat with the remaining batter.
Serve
  1. Serve warm with your favorite toppings such as syrup, yogurt, or fresh fruit.
