  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 cup Almonds (chopped) Toasted for extra flavor

Method
 

Prepare the Ice Cream Base
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder until fully combined.
  2. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until completely cold.
Churn the Ice Cream
  1. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Add Almonds
  1. During the last few minutes of churning, add the chopped toasted almonds to the ice cream.
Freeze
  1. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.
