Ingredients
  

Ice Cream Base
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter Creamy or chunky, as preferred
Mix-ins
  • 1 cup Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups Chopped into small pieces

Method
 

Prepare Ice Cream Base
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add the peanut butter and whisk until fully combined and smooth.
Chill and Churn
  1. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until thoroughly chilled.
  2. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Add Mix-ins and Freeze
  1. During the last few minutes of churning, add the chopped chocolate peanut butter cups.
  2. Transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up.
