Prepare the Mixture
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped jalapenos. Mix until well combined.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
Form the Balls
- Using your hands, form the cheese mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the formed balls on a baking sheet and refrigerate for about 15 minutes to firm up.
Coat the Balls
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and bread crumbs in separate bowls.
- Roll each ball in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with bread crumbs. Ensure they are well coated.
Fry the Balls
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or frying pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully drop the coated balls into the hot oil, frying in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
