  • 0.5 teaspoon dried parsley

Main Ingredients
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 lb whole milk mozzarella block or string cheese
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Marinara sauce for dipping

Preparation
  1. Prepare a frying station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with the Panko mixture seasoned with Italian seasoning, dried parsley, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Cut the mozzarella into sticks.
  3. Dredge each mozzarella stick in flour, dip into the egg, and then coat in the Panko mixture.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  2. Fry the mozzarella sticks in batches until they are golden brown, about 3 minutes, turning occasionally.
  3. Drain on paper towels and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
