Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 pounds pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
Sauce
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce your favorite brand
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Rub the mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.
Cooking
  1. Place the ribs in the crockpot, standing them on their side if necessary.
  2. Pour any remaining sauce over the ribs.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours, until the ribs are tender.
Serving
  1. Remove the ribs from the crockpot and let them rest for a few minutes.
  2. Serve with additional barbecue sauce if desired.
