Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cups cocoa powder unsweetened
Wet Ingredients
  • 3 medium ripe bananas mashed
  • 0.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cups brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add-ins
  • 1 cups dark chocolate chips semi-sweet

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
  3. In another bowl, combine the mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Mixing
  1. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  2. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  2. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  3. Allow to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
