Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh or thawed shrimp.
Cajun Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Freshly ground.
Vegetables (optional)
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks bell pepper Any color.
  • 1 zucchini, sliced zucchini
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks red onion

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Marinate the Shrimp
  1. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Prepare the Skewers
  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. Thread the marinated shrimp and optional vegetables onto the skewers.
Grill the Skewers
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
Serve
  1. Remove the skewers from the grill and serve immediately with lemon wedges and your favorite dipping sauce.
