Ingredients
  

Marinade
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Flank Steak
  • 1.5 pounds flank steak trimmed

Method
 

Marinate the Steak
  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic, black pepper, and oregano.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
Grill the Steak
  1. Preheat the grill to high heat.
  2. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 130°F for medium-rare.
  3. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Serve
  1. Slice the flank steak against the grain and serve with your choice of sides.
