Ingredients
  

Eggs
  • 6 large eggs hard-boiled
Filling
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise preferably Japanese mayo
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
Garnish
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds toasted
  • 1 teaspoon green onions chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Eggs
  1. Place eggs in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Transfer eggs to an ice bath to cool for 5 minutes, then peel and slice in half lengthwise.
Make the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the yolks, mayonnaise, gochujang, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, and salt. Mix until smooth.
Assemble the Deviled Eggs
  1. Spoon or pipe the filling into the egg white halves. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

For extra heat, adjust the amount of gochujang to taste.
