Ingredients
  

Chicken Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings fresh or thawed
Gochujang Sauce
  • 1/4 cup gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1/4 cup honey for sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar for acidity
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil for flavor
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds toasted
  • 2 stalks green onions sliced

Method
 

Prepare the Wings
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt and pepper.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger until smooth.
Bake the Wings
  1. Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy.
Coat with Sauce
  1. Remove the wings from the oven and toss them in the gochujang sauce until well coated.
Serve
  1. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.

Notes
