Ingredients
  

Chicken Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings drumettes and flats
Gochujang Sauce
  • 1/4 cup gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1/4 cup honey for sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce for umami
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar for acidity
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil for flavor
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds toasted
  • 2 stalks green onions sliced

Method
 

Prepare the Wings
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chicken wings with salt and pepper.
Make the Sauce
  1. In another bowl, whisk together gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger until smooth.
Bake the Wings
  1. Place the wings on a baking sheet and brush with the gochujang sauce.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and cooked through.
Serve
  1. Remove from oven and toss wings in remaining sauce.
  2. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
