Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes preferably cold
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 cup milk or as needed

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add the melted butter and gradually mix in the milk until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 5 minutes.
Cook the Bread
  1. Divide the dough into four equal pieces and roll each into a round shape about 1/2 inch thick.
  2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and cook each round for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  3. Remove from the pan and let cool slightly before serving.
