Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 2 cups mango, diced ripe
  • 1 cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped fresh
  • 1 medium jalapeño, seeded and minced optional for heat
Seasoning
  • 1 lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the ingredients
  1. Dice the mango, red bell pepper, and finely chop the red onion and cilantro.
  2. Seed and mince the jalapeño if using.
Mix the salsa
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced mango, red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño.
  2. Add the lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
Serve
  1. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping.
