Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz spaghetti or any pasta of choice
Sauce
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil high-quality
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for heat
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated, optional
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Method
 

Cook the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Combine
  1. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.
  2. Add chopped parsley, salt, and pepper to taste. Toss again and serve hot, topped with grated parmesan if desired.
