Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced about 4-5 medium peaches
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar adjust based on sweetness of peaches
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice to enhance flavor
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon optional
Topping
  • 1 cup rolled oats old-fashioned
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Toss to coat the peaches evenly.
Prepare the Topping
  1. In another bowl, mix together rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, chopped pecans, melted butter, and salt until crumbly.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Spread the peach mixture evenly in a 9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the topping mixture over the peaches.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
Serve
  1. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.

Notes
