Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup peanut butter creamy or chunky
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add-ins
  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet or dark

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix the peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  3. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
