Ingredients
  

Wontons
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger minced
  • 1 teaspoon green onion chopped
Soup Base
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup bok choy chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced

Method
 

Prepare Wontons
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and green onion. Mix well.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water and fold to seal.
Cook Soup
  1. In a large pot, combine chicken broth and water. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add the wontons to the boiling broth and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they float.
  3. Add bok choy and mushrooms to the pot and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil before serving.
