Ingredients

Dough
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 cup Warm water About 110°F
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
Toppings
  • 1 cup Artichoke hearts Canned or frozen, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup Asparagus Trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Halved
  • 1 cup Bell pepper Sliced
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh basil Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil For drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon Salt and pepper To taste

Method

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
Prepare the Toppings
  1. While the dough is rising, prepare the vegetables. Chop the artichokes, asparagus, and bell pepper, and halve the cherry tomatoes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
Assemble the Pizza
  1. Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  2. Transfer the rolled dough to a piece of parchment paper. Spread the mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
  3. Top with artichokes, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, and bell peppers. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Bake the Pizza
  1. Carefully slide the parchment paper with the assembled pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Serve
  1. Remove the pizza from the oven, sprinkle with fresh basil, slice, and serve hot.
