  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk can use almond, soy, or dairy milk
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt optional for creaminess
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fruits
  • 1 cup strawberries sliced
  • 1 large banana sliced
Toppings
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds optional
  • 1/4 cup nuts or seeds optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Layer the sliced strawberries and bananas into the mixture, folding gently to combine.
  3. Divide the mixture evenly into mason jars or airtight containers.
  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to soak.
Serving
  1. In the morning, give the oats a good stir and add toppings like chia seeds or nuts if desired.
  2. Enjoy cold or warm them up in the microwave for a few seconds if preferred.
